Focus Group Opportunity: HPV Perceptions

Home » News » Focus Group Opportunity: HPV Perceptions

Cherokee Nation Public Health will be conducting focus groups over the next couple of months at the following clinics: Hastings, Sam Hider Health Center, RedBird Smith Health Center, Vinita Health Center, and Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center.

We are looking to recruit American Indian/Alaska Native parents of children ages 9-17 years and who use Cherokee Nation Health Services to participate in these focus groups. These focus groups aim to understand community knowledge, attitudes, and views towards the Human Papillomavirus vaccination. Participants of these focus groups will be compensated for their time.

If interested in participating in one of these focus groups, please contact Dr. Ashley Comiford at ashley-comiford@cherokee.org or (918) 453-5000 ext. 7076 or Margie Burkhart at margie-burkhart@cherokee.org or (918) 453-5000 ext. 5440 for more information.
